Welcome to Excel Academy. Excel Academy is a non-traditional high school in Uvalde, Texas. The school works to provide access to higher education to a populace that have historically been underrepresented at colleges and universities. We utilize our expertise in contemporary K-12 educational settings, working effectively to involve families, and achieving high academic standards. We have integrated our understanding of contemporary issues in public education and continue to link such understanding to the educational needs of students that have under-realized their full academic abilities. Excel believes in the high potential of all students and their families’ commitment to academic achievement. Moreover, we understand innately the processes of cultivating young minds.

Excel Academy provides a serious, imaginative, and sophisticated approach to its delivery of instruction. The School has articulated a well-informed professional foundation which embraces the areas of classroom, administrative, and policy making. Excel has demonstrated effectively a strong commitment to the development of marginalized students that often extends beyond what is professionally required.
